Defyned Interactive is the side of the business responsible for actually getting the job done. We are the designers, programmers and stategists behind the great software we develop. At Defyned, we offer a culture unlike anything we have ever been a part of.
To understand Defyned Interactive, it's important to know how we think. Our core competencies can be found on the left. They are grouped in five sections, which each representing a critical phase of a full life-cycle development. Here is our perspective for developing high performance software in this age of turbulence.
Corporate Structure
Defyned is made up of two broad divisions, Defyned Ventures and Defyned Interactive. Defyned Ventures is the organizer behind the collection of ventures we incubate and are developing internally. Defyned Interactive is the integrated firm capable of executing the low level implementation of our ideas and ventures.
The two companies have very different day-to-day operations, where Defyned Ventures is constantly focused on the financing, community, and future of the projects under incubation. Defyned interactive is structured in the form of business units and project groups, who are completely abstracted from the details around raising capital and working with various boards of directors.
Groups and Business Units
We are able to multitask with high degrees of quality because we are structured like an interactive agency. Each project has a dedicated team assigned to it, which we call groups. There are also business units, which oversee several groups.
Each business unit has a dedicated project manager, solution architect, and user experience director. Business units are able to guide several groups and grow according to group sizes and scale out when there are more projects.
Groups consist of designers, developers, quality assurance testers, marketers, content strategists, and integration specialists.
Front-End and Distribution Divisions
The front-end and account management of Defyned Interactive is managed by a core team of accountants and business operations staff, who oversee that the business is healthy from a financial and legal status.
Our distribution capabilities are expanding, the facilities are becoming more efficient and eventually, we envision a complete division of our business isolated from Defyned Ventures and Interactive. We are currently exploring highly efficient and highly complex partners for our ventures based on distribution.
